Voice of God, Our Heavenly Father

3 Nephi 11:3,6
verse 3
...they (Nephites) heard a voice as if it came out of heaven; and they cast their eyes round about, for they understood not the voice which they heard; and it was not a harsh voice, neither was it a loud voice; nevertheless, and notwithstanding it being a small voice it did pierce them that did hear to the center, insomuch that there was no part of their frame that it did not cause to quake; yea, it did pierce them to the very soul, and did cause their hearts to burn.

verse 6
and behold, the third time they did understand the voice which they heard; ...

I had a thought that our soul will recognize the voice of our Heavenly Father, that’s why it would pierce to the soul even if it takes a few times to hear it

Knowledge of the Plan of Salvation

3 Nephi 5:20
...I have reason to bless my God and my Savior Jesus Christ, ...that he hath given me and my people so much knowledge unto the salvation of our souls.

That’s my sentiment and that gives me joy. I wish the same on those who don’t yet have that knowledge.  Especially my dad, brother and 2 sister-in-laws.  I wish they could open their minds and hearts to it so they can have more joy in their lives.  I didn't always have this knowledge and life was hard.  Sometimes I didn't want to live with  my challenges.  After the death of my grandpa, I began to ask questions and found it in the LDS Church principles.  One day I knew it was all true.  I now had a purpose in life and would work through my challenges.  It makes it easier.
